how to deal is the best movie i have seen in my life!it had also changed how i think of love. i believe in it more and i hope that when i grow up that i will eventually fall in love sort of like Halley did. it is about a teenager named Halley(played by mandy moore) who is dealing with life.she has a lot on her going on in her life right now.her bestfriend scarlett's boyfriend died at a soccer match because of a heart defect and she found out that she was pregnant with his baby.her father is getting re-married her sister is getting married and even though she doesn't believe in love she ends up falling in love with macon,a boy who doesn't care about school but obviously cares about Halley.one of my favorite parts in this movie is when Halley's mother comes back from a date and finds her daughter making out with Macon on the couch! it was so funny to me because once they got caught Macon fell off the couch making a quick exit and Halley stormed up to her room trying to ignor what her mom found out. I liked this part because Macon and Halley risked getting caught and even though they did and Halley's mom refused to let her go out with Macon on New Years Eve Halley sneeked out anyways so she could go to a party with him. I think that anyone who wants to see what it takes to bee in love than this movie is for them and even if you don't want to see what it takes then you should still see this movie.I loved it.
