As many of you know, the initial wave of Blu Ray titles are not encoded with VCI, the approved encoding method for Blu Ray. The Software developers were still having problems with the new technology and had to basically encode the discs using an inferior method to rush the product to the shelves. Many of the discs do not look as good as they can. Many look about on par with broadcast HD, which though not bad, is not as good as Blu Ray will look in the near future when the software developers switch to the new encoding format. This title, Underworld Evolution is the exception. This title looks suberb! Rich Colors, Great detail, and really a reference disc for the first wave of titles. Highly Reccomended.
