Larry Edward Haynes

 

(November 18,1945 – April 1, 2014)

 

Larry E. Haynes 68, of Sherwood formerly of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014. He was born in Jonesboro to Charles and Betty Taylor Haynes. Larry was preceded in death by his father.

 

An Air Force Veteran, Larry worked for 27 years as a District Manager for Conwood Corporation, and after retiring he owned and operated B and M Flea Market in Jacksonville. He was an avid sportsman, fisherman and truly loved deer hunting.

 

Larry cared deeply and loved his family with all his heart. He was a generous, loving and caring husband, son, father and grandfather. All who knew him would agree he was patient, strong, honest and hard working. A great example of what a man should be, he will be missed greatly.

 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; mother, Betty Haynes; two sons, Rodney Haynes (Kristi) of Joplin, Mo. and Robert Haynes (Deb) of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Kyle Haynes, Brooke Haynes, Caroline Haynes, Chase Haynes, Kyleigh Haynes and Kaden Haynes; sister-in-law, Debra Timms of Bono; and a host of other family and friends.
